Quoi de mieux qu’une paire de mitaines pour se réchauffer les mains. En plus du châle Nasua tricoté en Lolilafée, j’ai eu envie de tricoter mes restes de laines pour créer un combo doux, chaud et coordonné. J’ai utilisé le motif du châle pour créer un lien.

Les mitaines Coati sont rapides à tricoter, en 4,5mm. On y retrouve le motif dentelle sur le dessus et le reste est en jersey, avec quelques centimètres de côtes 1/1 pour la tenue. Elles sont commencées par le poignet pour permettre l’essayage progressif. Seules ou en duo, elles promettent beaucoup de chaleur pour l’hiver.

Pour l’achat de ce patron, 2 fichiers PDF seront à vous : une version numérique avec photos et une autre imprimable avec 1 seule photo et moins de pages. Il vous sera aussi envoyé une version livret, la version pdf qui me sert pour l’impression des livrets pour les salons.

Matériel : Aiguilles 4,5 mm ou aiguilles permettant d’obtenir le bon échantillon.

Mes mitaines sont réalisées avec 1 pelote de N°1 – Mérinos (100% Mérinos superwash - 200m pour 50gr) et 1 pelote de N°3 – Mohair Soie (72% Fine Kid Mohair et 28% Soie - 210m pour 25gr) de chez Lolilafée en coloris Tango.

Vous pouvez utiliser 1 fil Fingering + 1 fil Lace tenus ensemble ou 1 fil DK, tant que l’échantillon est respecté, en suivant le métrage ci-dessous :

What’s better than a pair of mitts to keep your hands toasty? Paired with the Nasua shawl knit in Lolilafée yarns, I wanted to use up my leftovers to create a soft, cozy, and matching combo. I used the shawl’s stitch pattern to tie the pieces together.

The Coati mitts are a quick knit on 4.5 mm needles. They feature the lace motif on the top, while the rest is in stockinette stitch. They’re topped with a few centimeters of 1x1 ribbing for a neat fit. They’re worked from the cuff up, allowing you to try them on as you go. Whether worn alone or as a set, they promise plenty of warmth for the winter.

Notions: 4.5 mm needles or needles with which you get gauge.
4mm needles or needles 1 size smaller than those with which your got gauge (for the ribbing).
5 markers (1 for the BOR, 2 for the thumb increases and 2 for the openwork motif) and a tapestry needle.

Gauge: 22 stitches/30 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch, blocked.

Yarn: My mitts were knit using 1 ball of N°1 – Mérinos (100% superwash merino yarn - 200m for 50gr) and 1 ball of N°3 – Mohair Soie (72% fine kid mohair and 28% silk - 210m for 25gr) from Lolilafée in the Tango colourway.

Given that your get gauge, you can use 1 strand of fingering weight yarn held with 1 strand of lace or 1 strand of DK weight yarn, in the following meterage
