Cobble Hill Shawl is a light and small shawl that doesn’t take much time to make. The stitch chosen for this design resembles the old, cobbled streets of historical towns and villages with its structure, hence the name Cobble Hill Shawl.

For the shawl in sage colour I used approximately 3 skeins of Holst Garn Supersoft, colour 053 Sage Blue (50 g = 287 m / 313 yds), 2 ply / Lace
The shawl measures 150 cm/59” lenght i 28 cm/11” depth, weighs 125 g.

For the shawl in beige colour I used approximately 1 skein of Holst Garn Coast, colour 86 Clove (50 g = 350 m / 382 yds), 2 ply / Lace
The shawl measures 102 cm/40” lenght i 18 cm/7” depth, weighs 45 g.

In both shawls for the main stitch I used crochet hook 3 mm and for the I-Cord - crochet hook and knitting needle 5 mm

The pattern is written in such way that any yarn and crochet hook can be used to make the shawl, but have in mind that amount of yarn for the shawl will be different depending on your choice.

Project level: Easy + would be good if you are comfortable with crocheting, pattern include increase and decrease, basic knitting skills can be useful when making an I-Cord

Cobble Hill Shawl to lekka i niewielka chusta, której wykonanie nie zajmuje dużo czasu. Ścieg wybrany do tego projektu przypomina swoją strukturą dawne, brukowane uliczki zabytkowych miasteczek i wsi, stąd nazwa Cobble Hill Shawl.

Na szal w kolorze szałwiowym zużyłam około 3 motki Holst Garn Supersoft, kolor 053 Sage Blue (50 g = 287 m / 313 yds), 2 ply / Lace
Szal mierzy 150 cm/59” długości i 28 cm/11” głębokości, waży 125 g.

Na szal w kolorze beżowym zużyłam około 1 motek Holst Garn Coast, kolor 86 Clove
(50 g = 350 m / 382 yds), 2 ply / Lace
Szal mierzy 102 cm/40” długości i 18 cm/7” głębokości, waży 45 g.

Dla obu szali na ścieg główny użyłam szydełko 3 mm oraz na I-Cord szydełko i drut 5 mm.

Wzór jest napisany w taki sposób, że do wykonania szala można użyć dowolnej włóczki i szydełka, jednak należy wziąć pod uwagę, że ilość włóczki potrzebnej do zrobienia szala będzie się różniła, zależnie od wyboru włóczki.

Poziom projektu: łatwy + byłoby dobrze, gdybyś czuł/a się pewnie w szydełkowaniu, we wzorze występuje zwiększanie i redukowanie liczby oczek, podstawowa umiejetność dziergania na drutach może być przydatna przy wykonywaniu szydełkowego I-Cordu
