SKILL LEVEL:
Adventurous Beginner: For crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include double crochet and puff stitches.
Notes from the Designer:
Cobbles is a slightly slouchy beanie that uses puff stitches to create a pebbly texture reminiscent of rows of small rocks or cobblestones. This pattern works up fast using less than one skein of yarn. This hat makes for a light, easy piece to wear as the seasons transition.
- Each of the hats shown used approximately 160 yds / 146 m.
- Fit: If you prefer a slouchier fit, complete an additional repeat of Rnds 7 - 9. If you prefer a less slouchy fit, complete fewer repeats of Rnds 7 - 9.
- Turning Chains: For some rounds the turning chain will count as a stitch, and for some rounds, it won’t. This is indicated in each round of the pattern.
- Do not turn at the end of the rounds.
- Optional Add On: A yarn or faux fur pom would make a nice addition to Cobbles.
