A salute to the Old Paris and its cobblestone streets, this shawl oozes simple elegance.

The central mesh section is framed with two columns of yarn over increases expanding from the neck, creating an elongated crescent shape that sits effortlessly on the shoulders. Finally, the vintage look is perfected with a delicate eyelet detail on the border.

Cobblestone uses one skein of fingering weight yarn, but the pattern also includes instructions for making it larger, so you can easily customize the shawl to fit your needs.

YARN
One skein of Juno Fibre Arts Alice (70% alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g). Shown in colour Raisin.

Or approximately 340 m / 372 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.

NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
