Cobbling Around, inspired by the streets of Edinburgh, Shetland lace, and a new shawl construction!

The shawl starts with a center rectangular panel, worked flat in with one of my favorite double-sided lace stitches. Then stitches are picked up around the rectangle, and you work out increasing at the corners growing your shawl! Then a lace edging is worked around and the top and bottom are bound off. Finally the wings are worked flat, adding additional length to the shawl.
