Say helloOoOoO to Scary Season with this witchy knit. Oversized in a cloak-like fashion at a cobweb-like gauge, it is time to cast some spells and stir some cauldrons. Knit from the top-down with a big ruffle-like increase at the beginning, this garment makes for a mindless project with still delivering extreme DRAMA!
Needles & Notions:
Size US 10.5 / 6.5mm circular needles (for body)
Size US 3 / 3.25mm, 16” circular needles (for neck)
Stitch marker, tapestry needle, stitch holders/scrap yarn, a spare needle in a similar size to your smaller needle
Sizing:
XS(S, M, L, XL) (XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
Finished Chest Measurement:
40(44, 48, 52, 56) (60, 64, 68, 72) inches;
101.5(111.75, 122, 132, 142.25) (152.5, 162.5, 172.75, 183) cm
This garment is meant to be worn with 8-12” of positive ease. I have a chest measurement of 36” and am pictured wearing the size Small with 8” of positive ease.
Gauge: 12 stitches and 18 rows/4” on a US 10.5 / 6.5mm, stockinette in the round, blocked.
Note on gauge: It is important that the fabric can easily stretch to 12 stitches over 4” but it is okay if in its relaxed state it has a slightly tighter gauge. The large needles and the thin yarn make a unique fabric that might vary in gauge throughout the piece. I recommend trying on the garment as you go to ensure you are getting the fabric and fit you want!

Light Fingering Weight
100% mulberry silk
