This pattern is available from etsy.com for £4.50.

This pattern is included in The Green Bean zine, Rockpools issue which can be found here.

This pattern is designed for knitters with experience working stranded colourwork and trapping long floats. Some sock knitting experience is also recommended.

The Cockle Socks are knitted from the cuff down with a Picot Hem, charted colourwork design, heel flap and gusset and a barn toe. The pattern is written in one size for a stitch count of 64. Gauge adjustments will enable you to knit different sizes.

Gauge and Size
32 sts and 36 rounds in 10cm, measured over Stocking Stitch in colourwork pattern
Recommended to be worn with zero or slight positive ease.

If you wish to adjust the size, here are some suggestions:
34 sts to 10cm = 19cm sock circumference
30 sts to 10cm = 21.5cm sock circumference
28 sts to 10cm = 23cm sock circumference
Round gauge is not crucial because sock length is adjustable to fit.
