I wanted to design a light wrap that had texture and interest, using some of my favourite crochet stitches (V stitches, clusters and twisted trebles), to create a wrap that could be used as an extra layer at any time. I wanted the design to be relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern, but that also included a little challenge. The regular mesh of the V-stitches contrasts with the twisted columns and clusters. The wrap is a large rectangle, so that it drapes beautifully. I used two Scheepjes Whirls in Brambleberry on a 3.50mm hook.
