The subject of my first book was mosaic lace, a combination of slip-stitch colorwork and lace techniques, and I couldn’t resist including a mosaic lace pattern in this book. The separation of the increases from their paired decreases creates a wonderful wave pattern that undulates along the entire length of this cowl. The thought of wave forms sent me searching for mathematical wave terminology, which ultimately led to the scientific- sounding name of this piece.

Yarn Colors: Old Man, Skell
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle

Pattern can be worked entirely from written instructions or with supporting charts.
