This pattern is the third in a collection of patterns I have designed inspired by my Summer journeys.

Coffee date socks are inspired by the dates my Fiancé and I would have as we fell in love. Like many people we met for a coffee date, little did I know it was the beginning of a journey of love. We often had coffee dates downtown in small coffee shops and as time went on we have had a baby and we still have our coffee dates just when the baby naps. We start the day with freshly ground coffee beans and our favourite mugs. We curl up on the sofa and talk between sips, just like we did many years ago in small coffee shops.

Construction
These socks start with ribbed cuff with garter panels that flows smoothly down the leg of the sock and across the gusset, and finally wraps around the toes, while the coffee bean stitch makes a stretchy comfortable leg. The sole of the foot is worked in stockinette stitch and the toe is a classic wedge shape.
