Throughout my knitting years and experience, Stephen West has been ‘The Ultimate’ designer for me to aspire to. I feel we share a deep love and passion for shawls and the beauty of color.

If I had one designer wish, it would be to sit down with him over coffee, (my other passion) and chat about pattern designs, inspirations and the wonderful joys of seeing people wearing and enjoying our designs.

As I was knitting up this piece, I felt I was channeling just a tiny piece of Stephen West. This piece is most likely the final pattern to join my ‘Coffee Series’ of patterns.
