This is a fairly easy sweater to make (the cable is a little different). once you get use to the pattern you can make this sweater without the pattern ( you will just have to remember to stop when it measures the right length). The pattern will allow you to make both the cap sleeve version and the full length sleeve. I have included a preemie size so that for all of you than enjoy donating to hospitals and other charities this will make and easy and quick sweater that people will love getting as a donation.

I love how the horizontal garter plays with the vertical cables. The buttonholes are right in the middle of the coins in the cable, framing the button.

I have made 5 YouTube videos to explain the cable, how to work without a pattern (intuitive knitting), how to do the buttonholes, straight sleeves (if you choose) and the increases. If you are better at learning by being shown they are there for you (I also have thorough descriptions on how to do all these things in the abbreviations)
