I enjoy knitting and spend most of my waking hours doing so. However, my family still likes to eat - especially holiday dinners. This pair of socks is the result of my knitting while cooking our Thanksgiving meal. It incorporates a simple coin stitch that requires no counting of rows and the small cables can be done without a cable needle. The stitch pattern is easily memorized and can be performed while waiting for water to boil, butter to melt, and sauces to thicken. Have fun! And bon appétit!
