The Colburn gloves are part of a set of hat, gloves, and scarf.

This unisex hat, gloves, and scarf set is a contemporary application of a stitch pattern found in a glove booklet with a 1953 copyright. The booklet section that included the stitch declared “Gloves for the Whole Family”. That stitch, incorporated into all three pieces, is combined with a broken rib in the brim of the hat, which is also echoed along the edges of the scarf. This combination coordinates all three pieces. Worn on either men or women, this ensemble has a classic appeal.

It takes 2 balls of Lana Grossa Merino Superfein to knit these gloves, and 6 balls total to make the whole set.
