Cold Wave is a seamless poncho that is knit from the top down with Aran/heavy worsted weight yarn and two sizes of circular knitting needles. Begin by casting on for the cowl with size 9 needles. Then change to a size 10 circular and cast on from one side of the cowl to begin to form the body. The body is knit in rows in an easy textured diagonal stitch pattern until it is as short or long as you desire. The pictured poncho was knit with 860 yards of yarn. It can be worn in several ways. Finished size after steaming: 60.5” around x 25” long. Several options are included to personalize your poncho.
