Colette mittens are designed for everyday wear during those chilly autumn and spring days. Their slim design makes them fit like a glove.

These mittens are worked starting from the cuff using the magic loop technique. Then increases are worked for the thumb. Stitches for the thumb are left aside while working the rest of the palm. Finally, you work the top of the thumb.

Measurements: Hand circumference 14.5 (17) 19.5 cm / 5.75 (6.75) 7.75” on finished mitten once blocked.

Ease: Suggested negative ease on palm circumference 2 cm / 0.75”. Pictured in size adult S.

Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in Stockinette St and 26 sts x 30 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in cable pattern using 3.5 mm (US 4) needles, after blocking.

Needles: 3 mm (US 2.5) and 3.5 mm (US 4) long circular needles (suitable for magic loop technique).

Yarn: 50 (70) 90 g Sandnes Garn Double Sunday (100% merino – 108 m / 118 yds / 50 g), colour 3041 Lys Nougat.
