These socks are knitted top down, using 20g of 4 different colours of sock yarn, named A through D, with a colour work detail before each colour change.
I would recommend using a needle a 1/4 of
a size bigger than your usual sock knitting needle for this project.
Sample made to fit a UK 5-6 / US 8-9 / EU 38-39, on a 2.75mm by 80cm circular knitting needle using the magic loop method.

Yarn: Viola Sock mini bundles (75% merino wool / 25% nylon / 80g).
Using four 20g mini skeins of different colours (20g = 84.2m / 92yds).
Col. A: Sweet Dreams
Col. B: Reflections
Col. C: Sunflower
Col. D: Tomato

Gauge:
34 sts and 42 rows = 10cm / 4in over stockinette stitch on 2.75mm US 2 needle.
