If you’ve been looking for a NO-SEW crochet chicken pattern, I think you’re going to love this one! This easy chicken Amigurumi pattern is quick to make and best of all, there’s no sewing required to assemble it together. If sewing Amigurumi body parts isn’t your favourite part of crocheting, this pattern is definitely for you! :-)
And as always, I’ve included lots of video tutorials for some of the trickier parts of this Easter chicken crochet pattern. So if you get stuck or just want to refresh your skills, you can simply follow along. I hope you’ll find this pattern fun and relaxing to make!

MATERIALS NEEDED:
This crochet pattern will work great with the below yarns:
- 100% cotton yarn
- 100% acrylic yarn
- blend of cotton/acrylic
- Sport weight yarn (4ply #2)
- Light worsted weight yarn (DK #3)
- Worsted weight yarn (Aran #4)
- Plush yarn/velvet yarn (Bulky #5)
I USED:
- Sport weight yarn (4ply #2)
- 55% cotton and 45% acrylic blend
- Yellow yarn – YarnArt Jeans – color 88 – (50g/160m)
- Orange yarn – YarnArt Jeans – color 35 – (50g/160m)
OTHER MATERIALS:
- polyester fibre fill
- a long strand of white yarn - about 30cm (12”)
- a long strand of black thread embroidery yarn - about 30cm (12”)
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
- crochet hook: I used 2.5mm = B/1, if using different weight of yarn then refer to hook size recommendations on the yarn but go one size smaller
- scissors, yarn needle, pins with large heads, stitch marker
- 10mm safety eyes - when using Sport weight yarn (4ply #2)
- 12mm safety eyes - when using Light worsted weight yarn (DK #3) or Worsted weight yarn (Aran #4)
