The Coliseum Cowl is a pretty simple pattern, perfect for knitting beginners who want to dip their toes in: kitting in the round and cables.
It’s a relaxing project due to row repetition, you just need 1 skein, 6.5mm circular needles and you’re ready to go!

It was originally designed for a Chilean yarn company named Tejedores. Their yarn is affordable, sustainable and 100% natural.
I made it using their hand dyed yarn in different colors but the pattern might show off better in a solid colored yarn.
The pattern can easily be modified to be made in different yarn/needle size. It can also be adjusted to desired length.

I’m not a beanie person, so I was looking for a cozy cowl that would keep my neck and ears warm during fall and winter, on my way to work or to a party. The best part is you can keep it in your bag at all times since it uses so little space.
