Si estás buscando tejer tu primera prenda a palillos, el Vaquería Top es perfecto para ti. Este proyecto se teje muy rápidamente, tiene unos detalles preciosos que parecen difíciles de hacer pero en realidad son facilísimos. Dependiendo de la fibra que elijas, puedes elegir tejerlo como top o sweater. El patrón indica todos los pasos y medidas para lograr personalizarlo a tu gusto.

NIVEL: Principiante/Principiante avanzado

TALLAS
El top está diseñado para ajustarse al busto y destacar tu cintura, con una holgura negativa de 4.5 a 9.5cm.
Si eliges la versión sweater, te recomiendo elegir una talla con 10cm de holgura positiva.

El patrón viene en 9 tallas para circunferencias de busto de apróx. 71-76 (81-86) 91.5-96.5 (101.5-106.5) 111.5-117 (122-127) 132-137 (142-147) 152-158 cm. Para leer las instrucciones identifica tu talla y sigue el no correspondiente: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9. Si quedas entre tallas, te recomiendo elegir la más grande.

MEDIDAS FINALES
Circunferencia de busto: 66.5 (76.5) 87 (97) 107 (117.5) 127.5 (137.5) 148 cm.
Circunferencia de manga: 32 (34) 36.5 (39.5) 42 (44.5) 47 (49.5) 52 cm.
Largo versión crop: 67 (69) 72 (74) 74 (77) 78 (81) 81 cm.
Largo versión top o sweater: 82 (84) 87 (89) 89 (92) 93 (96) 96 cm.

NECESITARÁS
Fibra: Epic de Yarn and Colors, 100% algodón peinado (75 metros en 50g), o cualquier otra fibra -o combinación de fibras que den- grosor worsted y que alcance la muestra.
El modelo está tejido en el color Antique Pink.

Cantidades: 250 (300) 450 (600) 750 (900) 1100 (1200) 1350 metros. Las cantidades consideran largo hasta la cadera con manga corta y pueden variar dependiendo de tu muestra de tensión. Considera 50g adicionales para tejer manga larga.

Agujas: Agujas circulares 6mm (US 10) o tamaño que te permita llegar a la muestra, con cable de 80cm.
Para las mangas puedes usar técnica magic loop o reemplazar por agujas pequeñas con cable 10cm o agujas de doble punta 6mm (US 10).

Otros: aguja lanera, marcador de puntos, sostenedor de puntos (alfiler de seguridad, cable extra o restos de algodón).

If you’re looking for a quick and fun knit, this is the pattern for you. The Vaquería Top (or Sweater) is ideal to learn how to knit cables. You can finish it in no time, it has some beautiful details that may seem hard to do but they’re reallty super easy to make. Depending on the fiber you choose, you can knit it as a Top or a Sweater. The pattern indicates all the steps and measurements to personalize it and make it your own.

SIZES
The top is design to fit close to your chest and accentuate your waist, with 2 to 4” of negative ease.
If you choose the sweater version I recommend choosing a size with 4” of positive ease at final bust circumference.

This pattern comes in 9 sizes for the following bust circumferences: 28-30 (32-34) 36-38 (40-42) 44-46 (48-50) 52-54 (56-58) 60-62”. Identify your size and follow the Respondent instruction as it follows: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9. If you’re in between sizes, I recommend choosing the larger one.

FINAL MEASUREMENTS
Bust circumference: 26 (30) 34 (38) 42 (46) 50 (54) 58”.
Sleeve circumference: 13 (13) 14 (15.5) 16.5 (17.5) 18.5 (19.5) 20.5”.
Crop version length: 26 (27) 28 (29) 29 (30) 31 (32) 32”.
Sweater version length: 32 (33) 34 (35) 35 (36) 36.6 (38) 38”.

YOU WILL NEED
Fiber: Epic by Yarn and Colors, 100% brushed cotton (82 yds/75 m in 50 g), or any other fiber(s) needed to match gauge.
Sample was knitted in color Antique Pink.

Yardage: 275 (330) 500 (660) 750 (820) 1200 (1300) 1480 yds. Yardage is giver for hip lenght and short sleeves. Consider an extra 60 yds for long sleeve.

Needles: 6mm (US 10) circular knitting needles, or the size needed to match gauge, with an 80 cm cable. For the sleeves you can use magic loop, double pointed or short circular 6mm (US 10) needles.

Others: Darning needle, stitch markers, stitch holder (safety pin, extra cable or cotton leftover).
