Collared Lacy Jumper
See pages 14 and 25 for pattern.
This short-sleeved lacy jumper is knitted flat from the bottom up and then seamed together. It features a fitted shape with negative ease, a lace pattern through the body and sleeves, and a lacy collar.
Materials:
Needles (for working flat):
- 3mm
- 3.25mm
Yarn (I have guessed at 4ply/Fingering due to the needle sizes but the pattern is not clear - your results may vary!):
- 200g/720m 4ply/Fingering yarn (colour not specified)
4 small buttons
Techniques/Stitches
- Casting on/off
- Knitting and purling
- Simple increases (M1)
- Simple decreases (K2Tog)
- Double decreases (Sl1, K2Tog, PSSO)
- Slipping stitches
- Casting off some stitches in a row
- Seaming/sewing pieces together and attaching buttons
