The students have filled in all their applications, now it’s time for the knitters to apply themselves to make a hat celebrating their accomplishments - or for the students to treat themselves! What better to celebrate a birthday, holiday or graduation?

Make one for your middle-schooler, high-schooler, college student or for one with your graduates new company’s name! Upper Case, Lower Case and Numbers are provided along with blank fill-in graphs for every knitter to design their own special hat. No two alike!

Knit hats are hot! hot! hot! and school, team and college hats are my most requested hand knits. I wanted to design a hat that could scream out a particular college or team, but wouldn’t infringe on any copyrights or logos.

The best way seemed to be stripes, in the college or team colors. Blank graphs allow the knitter to add in the high school, college or team name, initials, graduation year or wearer’s name. The knitter is the ultimate designer of this hat. If the lettering is too daunting, just go with the stripes in team colors.

Knit in the round, blank graphs are provided for 2 sizes (Small Adult & Large Adult) and 2 shapes (Slouchy & Stocking - stocking in photo). Upper and lower case alphabets and a full set of numbers are included. Read the Design notes and go to town (or campus?) Instructions are included for an optional lining with a pre-made fleece cap for warmth in cold college towns or drafty football stadiums…
