COLLEGE_LOOP_CARDIGAN is designed with saddle shoulders that extend across the entire back. The cardigan features a boxy silhouette with straight sleeves. Body and sleeves alike are concluded with a college-inspired striped ribbing.

The cardigan is knitted top down. Begin by casting on stitches at the centre of the back, then knit back and forth across the left, then the right shoulder. Pick up stitches along the fronts of the shoulders and the back. Continue knitting back and forth while simultaneously working increases for the sleeves and neckline and later for the arm holes. The work is then divided, and the body and sleeves are knitted separately. The body is knitted back and forth with increases along both sides and concluded with a striped ribbing and tubular bind off. The sleeves are knitted in the round and concluded like the body with a striped ribbing and tubular bind off. Finally, pick up stitches for the vertical ribbing along the fronts and the V-neck. The ribbing is attached continuously, just like the buttonholes, which are also created continuously.
