My first official Ravelry downloadable pattern! To celebrate Vogue knitting live this weekend in my home state, I am making this available for free. Go crazy with Woolstok! I will be working with my LYS: Amazing Threads at the show on Friday and Saturday - Please drop by!

Color Enthusiast is a fun colorful cowl that makes great use of the 21 sampler pack of Woolstok from Blue Sky Fibers. Pair it with a neutral of your choice to make a light and bright cowl, or with a deeper tone for a moodier look with pops of color.

The knitting is very simple and relaxing - alternating rows of garter stitch stripes with one row of yarn over patterning and stockinette stitch ties it all together with rich texture

You may choose any worsted or heavier weight yarn. Change colors every contrast row, use a color changing yarn, or simply make it two toned. It’s totally up to you. Change the width for a skinnier loop, or add length to wrap around twice more loosely. You may need additional yardage of the 21 sampler pack. Pattern as written makes the most of the 5g mini’s (I had about a half yard left of each color)

The sample used 3 and a half hanks of neutral color woolstok, and one set of 21 color sampler mini skeins. I omitted using the same color as my main color, skipping over that shade in the sequence.
