Color Field has been updated to include a larger “shlanket” size shawl and both sizes now also include directions for knitting in DK and Worsted weight yarns!

Color Field is inspired by abstract paintings of the 1950s (specifically those of Lee Krasner and Helen Frankenthaler). This triangular shawl is striped in DK weight yarn for a cozy, comforting knit. The shawl blocks to surprisingly large dimensions for only using two skeins of yarn!

The shawl is knit using two skeins of Junkyarn DK in colorways Lee (creamy background with speckles) and Drop Cloth (tonal gray).

This shawl is perfect for an enthusiastic beginner wanting to learn new techniques or an experienced knitter who needs a relaxing summer vacation knit.
