Big comfy shawl to keep you warm throughout the year.
The shawl is worked from top down, beginning with Garter tab cast-on. The short row stripes create an endless playground for beautiful color combinations.

Please note that this shawl is a tad smaller and has a more curved shape than the one in tester’s projects because I improved the construction and had to make small changes.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
100” / 254 cm wide, measured across top edge;
15” / 38 cm deep.

Fingering weight yarn, approximately:
250 yds / 230 m MC (main color)
280 yds / 255 m of CC1 (contrasting color 1)
290 yds / 265 m of CC2 (contrasting color 2)

GAUGE
18 sts and 40 rows in Garter stitch after blocking = 4” / 10 cm.
Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the shawl.
