Crochet Ripple Baby Blanket Pattern

Coloblock Ripple Baby Blanket is a crochet baby blanket pattern using the classic crochet ripple stitch. Choose four of your favorite colors or choose any color sequence you like for the stripes.

The pattern is for a stroller size blanket. It is also easy to adjust the blanket to any size.

This pattern is suitable for beginners. There is a photo tutorial included for the dc3tog stitch.

Sample was worked using 2 skeins of Loops & Threads Capri in Turquoise, Mint, and Poolside Blue and 4 skeins in white. You can choose any smooth worsted weight yarn with approximately 160 yards each for the three colors and 320 yards for the white.

Materials Needed:

  • Worsted weight yarn in the colors of your choice
  • Approximately 160 yards each for the 3 colors and approximately 320 yards in white
  • Crochet hook size I or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needed
  • 2-13 stitch markers
