These cotton egg warmers are soft, colourful and keep any egg on a perfect temperature. They are fun, yet challenging to crochet. The egg cosies can also be a great gift.

To crochet this egg warmers you have to be acquainted with the basic stitches of crochet.

I have used:

  • a chain stitch
  • a double crochet
  • a half treble crochet
  • a treble crochet and
  • a front post treble crochet.

In this pattern I use a popcornstitch. You will find a tutorial on how to make this stitch.

You also will find photo tutorials of:

  • How to fasten off
  • How to attach a new colour

  • The pattern is available in English and Dutch
  • The egg warmers are 4,5 cm (1,8 inches) high, the handle is 4 cm high (1,6 inches) and the diameter is 5 cm (1,95 inches)
  • The examples are made of cotton yarn
  • The pattern uses a UK 12 crochet hook and an embroidery needle

The pattern is very detailed and contains many detail pictures, descriptions and charts of certain actions.
