A fairly short lace scarf which is started with stockinette in the middle and then in lace pattern in both directions. This allows the pattern of the two ends to appear similar. There is a border of seed stitch on the sides and ends.

One skein of 333 yard sport weight alpaca will make a scarf about 48” long, blocked. The lace pattern may be continued with more yarn for a longer scarf.
