This is an afghan I designed for my dad using his favorite colors that coordinate well with the furniture and accessories in his living room. The stitch pattern is an easy wave using the turquoise background color and changing every 2 rows to either royal blue, soft white, or golden honey yellow.

It’s an easy pattern repeat to work, even for a beginner. The color changes make it go fast, and add a bit of interest for a more experienced crocheter.

I made this one long enough for my 5’ 10” dad to lay back in his recliner covered up to his chin, with the bottom wrapped under his feet and the sides tucked in. Approximately 7 feet long by 5 feet wide. You can make yours in any color combination, and in any length and width of your choosing.
