This is a long beanie which when worn creates a lovely slouch. You can choose to baste the project to add some extra slouch to it.

It is a very simple colorwork project and can be whipped out in a couple of days.

I made this for myself, with a small head, but can fit a larger head as well. It just stretches. Both my husband and myself share it.

I used 3 different colours, one ball of each and had left over of each colour. The extra yarn can be used in the pom pom.

On the webpage itself, you will find the pattern for the beanie and a tutorial to making the additional pom pom as well.

I used a 3.25mm needle to start off the work and transferred the work to a 4mm needle after the ribbing was completed. I used a merino wool of about 8ply, anything similar would produce a similar product.
