This cozy can be made with either 5 or 4 repeats of the two-row slant instruction, for either a tall cozy or a medium-tall one. Pattern details indicate which two rows to omit if you want a shorter cozy.

Yarn “carries” impose a limit on how stretchy the product is from side to side, which may be an advantage, as there is less likelihood the cozy will slide too high on the drinking cup.

Varying your needle size down to 6 or up to 8 may help you to adjust the fit according to your favorite reusable cup and/or to use yarns of a thickness other than that of commonplace acrylic types.

Yardage is a rough estimate. A 2”-3” diameter ball of yarn may suffice for each color you use.
