The cable is actual a faux or mock cable. This pattern is most easily made with a ribber but instructions for single bed knitting are included. You should know that using a ribber is MUCH easier. Height of hood is 8.16-9” for girls 10.13-11.25” for ladies. Height varies slightly with gauge.
