A few weeks ago, my kids and I went on a walking treasure hunt in Brussels. Along the way, we saw many walls covered in comic book characters. Marcel, Willem, and I all love comics—especially Marcel. He enjoys drawing and creating his own, mostly funny ones.

Suddenly, he said to me: “It’s a shame we don’t have a wall like this at home, Mom. Then I could draw a giant comic too!” I replied, “Yes, that is a shame.” But at the same time, I was thinking about the long garden walls in our backyard…
