You can make this striking blanket with just two colours of yarn and half double crochet stitches. This blanket comes out a good size for a toddler at 90cm by 140cm and works up relatively quickly due to the Aran weight yarn. I’ve used Drops Big Marino Yarn for this project but feel free to use any Aran weight yarn you like that is suitable for sensitive skin.

4.5 mm crochet hook

Darning needle (for weaving in the ends)
