A super actual T-shirt, made out of a combination of handknits and readymade fabric. Latch on to the trend of combining fabrics in one garment. Knit your own baseball Tee and combine it with sleeves cut from the bolt, from an old T-shirt or a fancy piece of silk.
Choose a nubbly summery tweed, or a slinky rayon blend – it will work equally well.
No neck band, no ribbed edging so nothing detracts from its ultra-cool simplicity!
This is something between a recipe and a fully detailed pattern; but it’s not complex so I think it will work for beginners as well. It does include sewing….

Look for a contrast between the two yarns, rough versus smooth, matte versus shiny, stiff versus supple. Or color, of course.

Washed and blocked: 18 st/27 rows at 10cm/4” in pattern in the round.
