Come back to me is a lacy textured triangle crocheted wrap designed with cake yarns that had been sitting in my stash for far too long. Instructions are provided for two different shapes - a more traditional triangle with a curved top edge, or an elongated asymmetrical triangle, perfect for wearing around a neck. Any yarn can be used - choose a thicker yarn if you want a warm, snuggly wrap, or a lightweight yarn if you want a delicate lacy piece! You can make the wrap as large as you want by working more rows, and you can use all one color or multiple colors if you want to control the stripe width. The pretty scalloped borders develop as the shawl is crocheted rather than being added at the end, so you can stop any time.

This pattern uses basic stitches and is a great way for an adventurous new crocheter to make something fabulous!

Gauge is not important for this pattern, but to achieve a nice drape, you should use a hook that is 2 sizes larger than recommended for the yarn. The size of your finished project will depend on your yarn/hook size and the number of rows that you work.

My two samples each used an entire cake of yarn, and the dimensions are listed below:

Worsted weight triangle (caron cake) -
46x31x41 (edges) and 24” deep

DK weight (cupcake) - asymmetric triangle -
47x28x51 (edges) and 23” deep.
