Downloads Include a marked chart and written pattern for my Overlay Mosiac designs so you can create unique makes of your own; Blankets, scarves, hats, handbags, and more…there are so many options! These designs are best suited for those who have some experience incorporating designs into their own creations so either some mosaic crochet experience or an intermediate crocheter, but I don’t want to deter anyone from trying..go for it!
”You are certain to fail if you fail to even try!”. I promise it’s not as hard as it looks and there are many folks happy to help you, see the info below on where to find me and others willing to lend a virtual hand.

There are two versions, a small and a large. The size and number of repeats you choose will affect the look and size of your item so keep that in mind when choosing. Check out my other designs as well…there really is something for everyone…I hope so anyway!

Though these have been tested, I’m new to providing the written pattern portion..so if you spot any errors or have any kindly given constructive feedback on any part of these or any of my designs I would really love to hear from you.

HATE THE ENDS OF OVERLAY..read this» If you love Overlay mosaic but hate the ends as much as I do, check out my method of Overlay Mosaic Crochet with NO ENDS to cut so NO WEAVING at every row, NO CARRYING any yarn -so no waste or extra bulk, & NO SLANT since you are working both sides, and it’s also very easy to incorporate the reversible method right as you go (see YouTube for the reversible method options). Here’s my short (under 15 minutes) video tutorial for this method I have named ENDLESS OVERLAY : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6sizmhaxbYI

I also enjoy doing custom work or customization of my own designs so don’t hesitate to ask if you can’t find exactly what you need.

You can find me on my brand spankin’ new Facebook page & group called ”Y Knot Crochet”. Please join me there: https://www.facebook.com/groups/335723762013706/?ref=share. I’m often looking for testers and will post there so if that’s something your are interested in shoot me a message from my page, or just keep an eye out for announcements. I have several more designs in a variety of stages, lots of irons in the fire..they are my own version of “tooo many WIPs, so little time” so I would love to add to my tester team. I do also help administer the Mosaic Crochet MALs CALs & more group on Facebook, so if you already have enough individual designer groups on your plate and you’re not already a member, come join the fun there; https://www.facebook.com/groups/mosaiccrochet/?ref=share
You’ll find lots of information and inspiration from a huge variety of designers and makers from all over the world.
