The Comfort Chicken is a great beginner pattern, but does require some crochet terminology and stitch knowledge, e.g., how to increase, decrease, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet (if adding wings to your chicken.)
This pattern is for a medium sized hen, about 8” tall.
In addition to your bulky and DK yarn, you will also need safety eyes, an upholstery needle, and stuffing.
