Hi Everyone,

Let’s party some more!
2020 has not been a normal year by any means! Since we are all still in some form of reduced social interaction or stay at home orders, I think we need another online gathering!
Join me for a Comfy Cabled Throw Mystery KAL 2020! It’s a mystery with a new block being released each week. Beginning Friday 10/30/20.

The pattern is okay for an adventurous beginner to a seasoned knitter! I will be starting off with a very easy cable pattern to get the beginners started on cables. We will have weeks that the cables will challenge the beginners but I am available for questions. Cables are really fun and way easier than they look!

We will gather via Zoom every other week to visit and see each other’s progress. We can also share pictures here and chat! I can’t wait to see all your color choices!

Please join the Rogue Adventures Fans forum to chat and get the link to the meet ups.

Materials:
Any worsted weight yarn in any color combination that speaks to you! I am using Shelter by Brooklyn Tweed because there is a huge color selection and the yarn is, well, just fantastic. My test knitter and zoom extraordinaire Jana, is using cascade 220! You can buy new or use up yarn from your stash. Each of the 16 blocks will take approximately 110 yards. I feel like it will be easiest to knit your throw in 1, 4 or 8 colors. I will have a schematic available for you to print and color in your colors. If you choose one color your estimated yardage is 2200 yards (border included). If you choose 4 colors you will need 360 yards of each color (border not included). If you choose 8 colors you will need 240 yards of each color (border not included).
Needles:
Recommend size is US #8 needles.

Finished Size:
Each block is approximately 11.5 “x 11.5”. Yours may vary depending on your gauge.
With the border your finished throw should measure 52” x 56”.
Construction:
You will have the option to knit blocks and then seam together or knit blocks together into strips for less seaming. Seaming will be done with mattress stitch.
