Who doesn’t love a super soft beanie? Light as air and soft as a cloud, this bulky weight beanie will keep you warm and comfy-cozy.
Knit in-the-round using the most classic stitches - stockinette and 2x2 ribbing. With a simple crown using center double decreases, you will find this bulky knit beanie finishes in no time!

This project is suited for knitters who are comfortable with or who are open to learning the following skills and techniques:
Cast-on, center double decrease, knit, knit front and back, knitting in the round, purl
Yarn recommendations
Lion Brand Yarns, Feels like Bliss, fiber content: nylon 100%; 109 yards/100 meters; 3.5 oz/100 g, or similar yarn that knits to gauge.
Sample used 94 (120, 141) yards/86 (110, 129) meters; 3 (3.75, 4.5) oz/86 (110, 129) g; 1 (2, 2) ball(s). The sample size made was Teen using 2 balls in the Dusk color way.
Knitting needles
US size 9/5.5 mm and US size 11/8 mm, or size used to match gauge - circular for magic loop or 16” and/or DPNs as you prefer.
Notions
Beginning of round marker, six additional stitch markers, scissors, and a tapestry needle.
Gauge
14 sts x 18 rounds over 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round using larger needles.
