The pattern has been technically edited and test knit to ensure you are buying a quality pattern that can be used for years to come.

I have designed this pattern as a recipe combining the most comfortable knitting techniques I have found when knitting and researching hand knitted socks.

People who have sensitive feet, me included, can sometimes find that knitted socks cause a burning sensation on the soles of their feet. Other people need socks that do not restrict circulation to their feet or legs. The instructions in this pattern are written to create a pair of socks that are comfortable and healthy to wear. My son is diabetic and finds these socks really beneficial to his foot health.

The socks are knit from the top down and instructions are given for knitting in the round using 9” circular needles, however the pattern can easily be converted to your favourite sock knitting method using DPNs or Magic Loop on longer circular needles.

This ‘Sock Recipe’ can be adapted to incorporate any
decorative stitch to enhance the look of your socks. Add cables, motifs, and colours to create your own unique pair of comfortable socks.
