This pattern is a graphgan representing the Ten Commandments from the Bible found in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5. It reminds us to love God and our neighbours and makes a great talking point.

It is great for a gift, throw or child’s blanket.

The pattern comes in the form of a printable colored graph, and is worked in a corner to corner (C2C) fashion, starting from the bottom right.

There are also written instructions on how to crochet:

  • block 1
  • increase
  • decrease
  • change yarn color

The following stitches are used:

  • Chain
  • Double crochet (US)
  • Slip stitch

The size of the graphgan is 45” x 54” (114 x 137 cm) but you could make it larger or smaller by using a different yarn and/or hook size.

The 4 Seasons Marvel 8 ply yarn states it is 283 m long online but the actual product says 270 m. The blanket turned out very soft with this yarn.

The following colors were used:

Navy - 1 skein
Twilight - 1 skein
Cloud - 5 skeins
Cream - 3 skeins
