Make your own crocheted Common Jezebel Butterfly! The applications for this project can be from hair accessories to decoration to little gift favors! This pdf comes with a step by step pattern for each part of the butterfly, pictures, and in depth assembly instructions. While the instructions are specially for a Common Jezebel, you can easily adapt it to fit any design you want.
This is a beginner-intermediate project. Only a basic knowledge of crocheting in the round is necessary. You must be able to do a single crochet, increase, and decrease. There is an extensive amount of embroidery required, which may make the project more difficult.
You will need thread yarn (though any kind of yarn works perfectly well!) in 4 colors. Optionally you might want a small piece of wire to help support the butterfly’s body.
