These socks were born when I asked my fellow knitters in instagram which kind of socks they would like me to design next. Majority chose cuff down socks with heel flap, and knit/purl textured stitch pattern.
Community socks are named after all of them, the knitting community.
Choose the wildest yarn in your stash, or go with a calm yarn, this pattern works with pretty much any kind of colourway.
These socks are knit using the magic loop.

To fit a foot circumference of approx. 17,5 (20) 22,5 cm 7 (8) 9”. Shown in size L.

YARN
1 skein of PunkRock Unicorn Soul (85% Merino Wool, 15% Nylon; 400m 437yds per 100g skein.
Sample socks were knitted with the colourway ”Bali Beach”.

NEEDLES
2mm US 0 circular needles long enough for magic looping (or size needed to get gauge).

GAUGE
32 sts and 44 rounds = 10cm 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking, using 2mm US0 needles

NOTIONS
Stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving in the ends.
