Compass Rose makes a beautiful baby blanket, and would be wonderfully cozy made large for on a couch or bed. This pattern made with dk yarn and size g hook came out to 36” square with the standard pattern. However, this pattern also has an extension! The extension can be repeated as many times as you would like. One extension takes the blanket from 36” (3 feet) to 48” (4 feet)

Things you need
-Yarn - Any yarn of your choice- I used Bernat baby blanket sport
-4mm hook (size G) or hook applicable to your yarn weight
-Stitch markers
-Needle for sewing in ends

-There is no gauge for this as it is not imperative that you match my tension, but it is very important to keep your tension even throughout your project.
