Concavus, latin for concave, a term used in mathematics meaning curving inwards like the line of yarnovers on this half circle shawl.

Concavus is a half circle, asymmetrical shawl worked from the top down. The yarn-over patterning gradually spirals across the stitches, as it disappears from the left side of the shawl, it will reappear on the right. Two border options are given with the pattern, a basic ribbed stitch, or a garter stitch.

Intermediate difficulty.
