Conch is a small, lightweight shawl born from curiosity - a one-skein project worked in Malabrigo Metamorphosis that turned into something truly special.
The pattern is refreshingly intuitive and easy to memorize - logical, rhythmic, and perfect for TV knitting. The fabric is worked mostly in ribbing, which gives Conch its beautiful texture and natural elasticity. Techniques used include German short rows, i-cord bind-off, and simple increases.
The spiral construction and spiky decorative edging give Conch its sculptural, organic shape - reminiscent of the sea creature it’s named after.
