This curious little conch snail is one of the most unusual of the the edafedd patterns!

After working with a marine education program that had conch snails in its touch tank, they became one of my favorite sea creatures. They have such cute personalities, which I hope I’ve captured in my crocheted version.

The pattern features detailed instructions and color photos, and is suitable for an advanced beginner. I have not included instructions on the crochet stitches themselves, but there are many excellent websites online where you can find this information for free.
The stitches you’ll use in this pattern are:
chain
single crochet
single crochet increase and decrease
slip stitch
half double crochet
double crochet
bobble stitch
basic sewing/embroidery

The finished conch is about 7 inches long, depending on what kind of yarn you use.
