A simple yet effective combination of basic stitches gives this sock its distinctive style. From discreet in-pattern toe increases, to a beautifully shaped heel with in-pattern decreases, this pattern will hold your interest and reward you with a unique pair of socks.

Although the 72 stitch count may seem high for the medium size, bear in mind the firm nature of the twisted and crossed stitches. It will be possible for experienced knitters to increase/decrease the stitch count, however, for those who are still finding their feet {pardon the pun} with sock knitting, and who feel they would like to try this design, please don’t hesitate to contact me for assistance. I am willing to work with you in order to achieve a positive outcome.

The pattern has been proof read and edited. The test knitters are busy working their projects. My sincere thanks to Dawn, and Cathy who are in the process of trying out my ideas.

Many thanks to yarnymama for her editing expertise, and Hilary for throwing out the challenge to get this design into a toe-up format complete with patterned heel.
